Medical Clinic

Child Street to School operates a medical clinic within the drop – in center for the street children. Many street children are suffering vulnerably in the street from various sorts of medical problems. The children are brought in the medical clinic through the day and night fielding. Some children are admitted to hospital if needed.

Children are mostly affected by skin problems, lice, headache, eye /ear infections, pneumonia, tuberculosis, tetanus, diarrhea, open wounds and wound infections, self-harm wounds, burned skin broken arms/ legs, broken nose , appendicitis, dental problems, pregnancies.

A doctor and a nurse are regularly checking on the health of the children, social workers are trained in first aid and public health.

Regular Health Camps are organized for the children in Kathmandu and village areas.
