CHILD Street To School NEPAL

CENTER FOR HEALTH, INTELLECTUAL AND LEARNING DEVELOPMENT

CHILD Street to School is a non – governmental and non – profit making organization registered in Switzerland which has been established to help the street children in Nepal. It works for the protection, rehabilitation, re- socialization and reintegration of the street children. The acronym of CHILD stands for Center for Health, Intellectual and Learning Development. The philosophy of “Street to School” is to bring the children from streets and educate them through providing knowledge and rehabilitation program.

Every year, hundreds of children, attracted by the life in the city, leave their villages. Once there, they discover the harsh realities of life in the streets and are left on their own to face multiple forms of danger and abuse.

CHILD Street to School was created in 2010 to support street children and to prevent more children from ending upon the street.
